Way to go Chris~! I summited at 0803 Sep 20 2004 with 4 other men whom I first met in person in Amsterdam Holland We flew to Arusha and dropped off clothes, $$ and toys for the Lutheran Hosp before the Sunday we started on the Shira plateau route to Kibo Hut 5 days later. The most memorable memory second to the photo Op at the sign 19,334 ft on the roof of Africa was the Barranco Wall. Serengeti, Taryngeti, Ngorongoro, Oldupai, Zanzibar, Mwenzi SCUBA and Stonetown at Emerson Green then the flight back to Dar Es Salaam and back thru Amsterdam to Minneapolis then hometown Denver, Colorado.
